Nothing for Free in LA? I beg to differ...

UNbelieveable! Something free in L.A.?! You've GOT to be kidding me.

But yes, it's true. And they're called Fallen Fruit. An organization dedicated to mapping out the locations of public fruit trees in L.A. where fruit is free and ripe for the pickins. What a novel idea! Why buy it when you can get it for free...and offset some of them taxes that you pay eh? Yeah - farmers market people ain't gonna be happy about this. But what's even more interesting is that they encourage private property owners to plant fruit trees on their perimeters and then submit the location of their property for the public to come by and pick...I don't know about you but don't you think that's a bit scary? Especially in L.A.?! hahahaha, it's a novel idea still and just thought it was cool to share. But like all things in L.A., they'll somehow make this thing not free someday...
