Maybe my son will be a chef one day. He put a pea on a square cut carrot and gave it to me and said, "Happy Birthday Momma!" Awesome

Sous Vide at home

Attempting Sous Vide technique at home to slowly heat up left over rib roast. Using a glass to weigh meat down and a hot water trickle. Measured temp of water: our water temp only came up just past 100 degrees. You might want your water hotter to do this.

Turkey Cake Pop Craft

Turned cake pops into a craft at Thanksgiving. Gave the kids the run of the candy bin and let them decorate their own turkeys! Turned out to be a great idea and a great way to involve the kids at Thanksgiving.
